We use only two types of media for printing and always in the FineArt range of papers. The use of Matte or Gloss is a choice of the author as it enters into the personality of the artwork. Each photograph requires a kind of paper as each photograph has its own personality.
FineArts prints are made with the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 professional range printer. All works have followed a process of paper calibration using a professional printing calibrator that ensures a complete color matching. This entire process is on my own as part of the personal process and at anytime the fineart has pass through by other hands than the author's. The love and care given to the fineart is completely personal from start to finish. From monitor calibration, photo editing, paper choice, paper calibration according to the printing process, A2 / A3 printing, passpartout mounting, packaging and courier delivery.
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta is a bright white, cellulose-based FineArt inkjet paper with an inkjet coating specially tailored for FineArt use.
The clearly visible, exquisite felt structure lends the paper its lovely soft feel and tactile surface texture to produce prints with a stunning three-dimensional quality and depth. The high-gloss premium inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with perfect reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and striking contrasts.
The barium sulphate within the coating gives FineArt Baryta the feel of a traditional analogue baryta paper and makes it a popular alternative for inkjet printing. The acid- and lignin-free FineArt inkjet paper meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance. FineArt Baryta is a versatile classic for FineArt applications and sets standards in the printing of both black and white and colour photographs.
Platinum Etching 285 is a new 100% acid free, fine art paper with a velvety, textured surface. A natural white base and state of the art ink-receiving layer, delivers a high D-MAX and wide colour gamut. Platinum Etching is 25% cotton and 75% alpha-cellulose. When used in conjunction with pigment inks, the paper will ensure a print life of more than 85 years.
The type of texture and relief makes this paper ideal for photographs with a high pictorial load, giving it a relief and a unique personality that Baryta does not provide. Photographs within forests, seascapes with powerful waves or natural elements with complex graphics are the targets of this type of paper.
When you purchase a FineArt, the certificate of authenticity will accompany the arwork with a registration number and a certification authenticity embossed on paper. The image in its reverse will be stamped with the printing date, sale date, title and registration number that will coincide with the data compiled in the certificate of authenticity.
The image will be mounted in its passepartout or unmounted (at the client's choice) and sent by post or courier fully protected. The artworks are not framed as this detail is a very personal choice of every customer.
Dress up your favorite corner with nature based artwork and bring it that tranquility and calm that we often seek without success.
